*all sizing is suggested and rounded measurements. Each jersey fits differently based on manufacturer, fabrics, and year. These are simply suggested and not reason for refund.
Here at Joga Nova, we try to make things simple as a give and go. Here's our guide to help you choose the perfect jersey for you or as a gift. First fully, let's start off with the fan version or often called "replicas." Although the name connotates a "fake jersey", it is quite the opposite. These replicas are sold by top manufacturers like adidas, Nike, New Balance, and Puma. Replicas are made for the fans and made to fit as a relaxed polo or regular shirt. We're going to divide this guide into 4 different parts.

After Care
The biggest difference between the two jerseys is the way they fit. Fan Versions are made to be more comfortable and to be worn with everyday attire. Basic materials and fabrics are used for a looser fit and overall, a fit that makes you feel like you are wearing a polo.
Player versions are the exact jerseys wore by the biggest football stars in the world. They are a slim fit made to maximize the performance of top players. You will notice more tight areas around the chest, waist, and arms. Personally, here at Joga, we love both! To play, we prefer Player Versions. For everyday attire, we got to go with the Fan versions. We also do size up on player versions. We recommend you sizing up too if you don't want a overly tight jersey.
Secondly, the materials used are a big difference. Since player versions are slimmer, manufactures use a more lightweight and breathable material. These materials create a more lightweight and tighter look perfect to play. We also would like to add that fan versions use a conventional and confutable material for everyday use.
Third difference between the jerseys are the application of the badge. Player version badges are heat pressed and have a synthetic sticker feel which makes it much thinner.
Fan Version badges are stitched and embroidered which makes it have a sort of 3D effect.
Lastly, but most importantly, the after care of the jersey. With proper care, the jersey can be enjoyed for generations to come. We suggest proper care for both versions.
For Player versions, we suggest washing the jersey inside out (reversed) to protect the heat pressed logos. We also suggest air drying instead of using the drying machine. We strongly suggest avoiding hot temperatures to dry these jerseys.
For Fan versions, we suggest using a cold-water wash with air drying as well. Take care of these jerseys with proper care and we're sure they will look new.
